We strive to constantly provide our customers with fresh rice, that is grown and harvested from the heaven-sent fertile plains of Nagasa, which receives water from the surrounding lush green mountains and crisp clean sea breeze blowing across from the Pacific Ocean.
Throughout our 84-year history, we have constantly been tasked with adapting to our customer’s ever-changing preferences. Shingura has always fulfilled their needs and has gone beyond to deliver Premium Japanese rice onto their tables.
Location
This premium rice variety that we offer is grown exclusively in 3 districts (Oyama, Suki and Yoshio) in the Nagasa plains, which is located in Southern Chiba, Japan.
The mouth-watering taste of this rice is only enhanced by the elements of nature, which includes properties of the nutrient-rich soil, fresh mountain water, the ever-radiant sun and the sea breeze that constantly blows across the fields as it overlooks the Pacific Ocean.
Nagasa Rice
The reason why the Nagasa region was chosen to cultivate this rice was because because of the rich mineral content found in the fertile soil.
